I have always considered myself to be a citizen of the world and I wanted to make a positive contribution to the current state of affairs.
I realized very early the deep wounds and long-lasting scars caused by discriminatory practices such as sexism, classism and racism. I wanted to see a change in my lifetime and devote my vision to create a welcoming world for every human being. Later on, my research led me to understand that there are more forms of discrimination to be challenged, such as speciesism and anthropocentrism.
I am pursuing a teaching and writing career as a college professor precisely because it allows me to share this planetary view of honoring diversity and respecting co-existence.
